Battle of the Books

DVEF BATTLE OF THE BOOKS

Fifth and sixth grade students will be teamed in groups of three to compete and test their knowledge in three exciting school competitions during the 2022-2023 school year. Winning teams will move on to district and city-wide competitions.

Team members are assigned 4 different books to read for each competition. The highest scoring team from each school will represent their classmates at the district finals in April/May.

The top team that wins at the district level will go on to compete in a battle with Chandler, Gilbert, Higley, Mesa, and Queen Creek/Combs Districts in May.
