Ms. Christopher

Hello! My name is Cynthia Christopher, and this is my first year teaching! I will be sharing Esperanza Elementary School with Greenbrier Elementary School! I am super excited to be starting my career at these two amazing schools!

I grew up in the Valley and went to school in the Deer Valley Unified School District! I graduated from Deer Valley High School, and went on to Glendale Community College to continue my education. I graduated from GCC with my Associates of Arts with Emphasis in Music, then I continued on with a partnership between Maricopa Community College District and Ottawa University to earn my Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education - Instrumental Music.

Things that I enjoy doing in my free time include playing my trumpet, bowling, playing video games, hanging out with my family, and watching my favorite anime shows and movies. I own and have watched all the Studio Ghibli movies, and if I had to pick my favorite, it would have to be KiKi's Delivery Service.

I also have a beautiful fluffy cat! Her name is Harley and she is 13 years old. She moved here all the way from Alaska with my Uncle and Grandmother. My Uncle gave her to me after he could no longer take care of her. She is such a sweet gentle cat who gets all the love and attention she deserves!
