Welcome! I am so excited to be a part of Esperanza's Reading Intervention Team.  I am originally from San Diego and spent most of my childhood playing sports and going to the beach.  After receiving my bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education, K - 8th gr. from the University of Arizona, I moved to Phoenix to start my teaching career.  I taught 1^st grade for several years before getting my masters specializing in Reading Intervention for K-6^th grade.   I also have my certification endorsements in the areas of Early Childhood, 7-8^th grade Language Arts and SEI (Structured English Immersion).  I look forward to meeting and working with you.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at any time via phone or email.  I will respond to you within 24 hours
